How does eEquipRent work?

It's simple. Submit a request for quote for the equipment you need to rent. Suppliers from our network will respond with a quote that includes the terms of the rental and the specific equipment they have available. Once you accept a quote, you can sign the rental contract and receive your equipment.

Is my name and contact information kept private?

Yes. eEquipRent only gives your contact information to suppliers to which you have accepted a quote and signed a rental contract.

Does it cost to join or list equipment through eEquipRent?

No. eEquipRent does not charge listing fees, membership is completely free. However eEquipRent will charge certain reasonable amount or some percentage of contract value once both parties decide to enter in contract.

What if I don’t see the equipment I need on eEquipRent?

The equipment on our website is representative of general categories. Specific models, types or configurations will be identified in the quotes you receive from suppliers. If you would like to suggest a completely new category, please contact us. Our equipment categories are growing daily.

How long does it take get rental quotes back from suppliers?

eEquipRent encourages all suppliers to quote as soon as they receive the request. In general, we try to make sure you start receiving quotes in 48 hours or less during normal business hours. However it may take longer time for special category equipment.

How do I know that I am renting quality equipment?

All equipment is rated to ensure its quality before it is allowed to be listed as available on the eEquipRent Marketplace.

Who pays to ship the equipment?

The cost of shipping will be indicated on the quotes you receive from suppliers. The supplier has the option to charge shipping or include with the cost of the rental.

How does eEquipRent help my local community?

By its nature the sharing economy is local. eEquipRent Members with idle equipment rent their equipment to other Members in their cities, towns, and other localities. eEquipRent helps our Members keep jobs and revenues in their communities where they belong.

How do I sign up?

The sign up and verification process is free and easy. Just and fill out the required information to become an eEquipRent Member.

What are the Membership Eligibility Requirements?

While we reserve the right to decline membership for any reason, the following are the minimum eligibility requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must successfully complete eEquipRent’s identity verification.
For how long period I have to take equipment on rent?

Depending on requirement & type of equipment, rentals are generally broken down into daily, weekly, and monthly periods. For certain equipment long term rentals is also possible. For selected equipment hourly rates may also be available. Contact us for details.

Who is responsible for fuel?

The equipment owner is responsible to make sure that the equipment is filled with fuel. Upon return the renter is responsible to fill up the equipment with fuel. However some of the selected equipment are also available with fuel, in that case, equipment owner are responsible for fuel filling.

What if I need to extend my rental period?

Renters wishing to extend the rental period should contact eEquipRent to request an extension.

What happens if the equipment starts having issues while I’m renting it?

contact eEquipRent and we will have your equipment repaired or replaced. (subject to our terms and conditions)

What happens if the equipment gets damaged during a rental?

Document the damage and Contact eEquipRent immediately and we will work with you and the supplier to address the issue as quickly and efficiently as possible.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?

If you need to cancel a reservation, contact eEquipRent as soon as possible by texting or calling or emailing support@eequiprent.com

How can I become an eEquipRent supplier?

Just fill out the Supplier Inquiry form or call us at +91 7383 297 297. An eEquipRent representative will help you to get up and running.

How much does it cost to be an eEquipRent supplier?

There is no charge to be listed as an eEquipRent supplier and receive rental requests from potential Customers. eEquipRent receives a commission from the rentals you are awarded. Please contact us to find out more information about our commission schedule.

How can eEquipRent make me money?

As equipment owner, every day you are incurring various costs like Loan payments, storage fees, maintenance fees, insurance costs, depreciation, and other costs irrespectively weather your equipment is working or sits idle. Thanks to eEquipRent, that harsh reality is a thing of the past. By lending their idle equipment on the eEquipRent Marketplace, our Members are able to make money off of their equipment even when they are not using it. With eEquipRent, your equipment can literally pay for itself.

What is the minimum requirement to list equipment on the eEquipRent Marketplace?

While we reserve the right to decline membership for any reason, the following are the minimum eligibility requirements:

  • You must meet our eligibility requirements.
  • You must complete additional verifications.
  • Equipment must meet maintenance and safety requirements and be in good working condition.
How do you connect my company and equipment with renters?

When you sign-up for eEquipRent, you create a profile that includes what type of equipment you have and where you rent it. For example, you want to rent a Excavator (EX200) within 300 Km radius of Ahmedabad. The eEquipRent platform will notify you of requests that match your criteria. You can submit your quote to the Renter through eEquipRent. If the Renter accepts your quote and signs the rental contract, you will have access to their full contact information.

Can I build relationships with customers off line that I acquire from using eEquipRent?

Absolutely. The motive of eEquipRent is that you will acquire new customers and grow your business. We encourage you to pursue customer relationships off line after signing contract.

How do I know if I have an RFQ or rental request?

eEquipRent will send you an email when there is a rental request that matches your profile and criteria.

Can I contact customers directly?

Yes. Once your quote is accepted and the rental contract is signed, eEquipRent will give you the full contact information of the Renter. You can contact them to answer questions, assist with the logistics of the rental, and build a relationship with them for future business.

Who sets the price of the rental?

The pricing is set by the equipment owner (we recommend pricing to be roughly 15% to 20% lower than what national rental firms charge). Rental periods are automatically broken down into daily, weekly, and monthly rentals.

What if my current insurance doesn't cover rentals?

eEquipRent can assist you in acquiring adequate insurance coverage.

Who is responsible for maintaining my equipment?

Equipment owners are required to provide equipment to renters well maintained and up to date on all required inspections. During the rental period, equipment renters will be responsible for daily maintenance such as lubrication and fluid level checks. For major breakdown, equipment owners are required to repair / replace equipment within reasonable time. However, owner & renter may mutually decide maintenance policy during contract.

How is my equipment protected?

eEquipRent suggests renters to carry insurance for the full replacement value of all equipment they rent on the eEquipRent Marketplace. Because the foundation of our community is trust, we require every user to go through a brief identity verification process before becoming a member.
